We need to talk about the “Western Food” scene in Taipei. You know the struggle. You crave some Nachos and a pint. You go to a “Western” restaurant. And what do you get? Doritos and Costco salsa. Or maybe “Buffalo Wings” that are overcooked and dipped in Tabasco! Maybe they recommend Pizza and so you try it but its got corn and peas as toppings? It’s confusing. And it’s disappointing. It honestly makes me sad.
